nor on an athletics track

(I make exceptions for an event of over 6 hours or 100 km or specials like Devil take Hindmost)

The FRA (Fell Runner's Association policy is not to publish a fixture list for non-members

The TRA (The Trail Running Association) lists their Championship events (including the RRR)

Local Fixture List
Below is a list of forthcoming fixtures in the local area. Further information about the events can be found

in the SYO fixture list on the SYO site

Canklow, Rotherham, Sunday 1st October 2006
Canklow Woods, Rotherham. District event
Colour coded courses White to Brown
Registration from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
Parking at Oakwood Technology College. SK436913
The event will be signed from the M1 J33
Enter on the day. £4 for adults and £1 for children.


SYO Summer Park Races 2007

All events are on Tuesday evenings. Please bring a map bag and and SI card for start and finish timing. Entry fee - £1 (for a pre-marked map).

All events start at 6pm and courses will close at 7.30pm. Please email or ring the planner of each event if you intend to come to avoid map wastage. If you don't book a map then you will not be guaranteed a map! There will be one course with a winning time of around 15 minutes and one easy course for beginners at each race.
