The Round Rotherham
If you can't get to Scotland
and are looking for something to do of a weekend, you may consider
Rowbotham's Round Rotherham, a walk or run of 80 km (50 miles
in old money), a largely off-road route through The South Yorkshire
Forest following the scenic and largely rural boundary of Rotherham.
The route passes close to the Firsby Reservoirs:
GPS: see the sort of race analysis
you can generate in a fell or trail race using a GPS unit, using
data collected on the Totley Terminator
fell race (10 Sept 2000)
Holme
Moss Fell Race (28 July 2002)
