To get to Event Centre from South - Start/Finish, at DVC Sports Centre, Manvers, Grid Reference SE 455002

From South:  M1 J33 follow A630 (Rotherham) to 5th roundabout (B&Q), B6089 (Barnsley) bearing right at mini-roundabout in Greasborough, to Nether Haugh and then Brampton Brierlow.  After traffic lights at cross roads (B6067 at Cottage of Content).  (for other directions see RR Access plan)

To Grange Check Point 1, at Grange Golf Course, S of A629 Grid Reference SK 391943  
From Manvers roundabout, left at junction towards Wentworth / Brampton / West Melton (B6097). Left at traffic lights (Cottage of Content), to Greasborough.  Turn first Right, uphill (before mini-roundabout).  Road comes out opposite Grange Park (Golf Course and Driving Range); checkpoint is just inside park.  Park cars on golf course access road beyond checkpoint.

To Treeton Check Point 2, at Treeton, Washfield Lane (SW end, at footbridge over railway) Grid Ref. SK 427874  
Follow A629 into Rotherham to B&Q roundabout (large roundabout at end of dual carriageway).  Turn Right, then straight ahead over several roundabouts, initially towards M1 South, but where this goes right to M1 go straight on (picking up A631 for Bawtry) and turn right at traffic lights at Whiston, towards Aston.  Gently downhill, up, down and up (past Ulley Country Park), turn right for Treeton/Catcliffe at top of hill (Aughton cross roads). In Treeton village, turn left into Washfield Lane opposite village shop Please park on left, going down Washfield Lane, with field to your left, from Rother Avenue and Townend Close (early junctions on the left) to the sports ground (with the cricket ball fences) opposite road junction (Arundel Avenue).  Checkpoint is 100 m below Arundel Avenue junction, on left edge of new housing estate.

To Harthill Check Point 3, at Harthill Shopping Centre, Grid Reference SK 495808  
Back to Treeton village centre, turn right, return to Aughton cross roads, turn right and after 100 m left at pub. At next main road, turn Left, joining A57 at fire station, left to roundabout over M1. Cross M1 J31, Right at traffic lights (Todwick). Straight ahead at Kiveton Park crossroads. Church on left, then to shops on right then at mini-roundabout turn right (road to Killamarsh).  At end of houses, turn right into car park by children's playground(if congested, park further down the side road – there is plenty of parking space on the right)

To Woodsetts Check Point 4, at Woodsetts (Sports Pavilion), E of road to Letwell from Butcher's Arms G. R. SK 555838  
Return to Kiveton Park cross roads, turn right. Right in South Anston, cross A57 for road into Noth Anston.  Second right, at top of hill signed Woodsetts.  At Pub in Woodsetts (at cross roads) turn left (Letwell), then right after 100 m down track to Sports Pavilion.

To Firbeck Check Point 5, at Firbeck WMC, opposite Black Lion Grid Reference SK 564886  
From track, Right through Letwell, right at B road and then Left (Firbeck).  In village, right at T-junction.  Checkpoint is at left corner outside WMC opposite pub.  Do not park in minor lane, straight ahead (Private Road).

To Maltby. Check Point 6, at Maltby, Open land S of Lilly Hall Hoad Grid Reference SK 519925  
Continue to A634.  At A631 (in Maltby) turn right (acute angle) then left towards Braithwell. After 100m road turns left, after further 100 m Straight ahead where Braithwell road goes right.  Checkpoint is 800m on left, in open grassy space below road - shortly before T junction.  Expect a tent.

To Old Denaby Check Point 7, at Old Denaby, S of Manor Barn Restaurant Grid Reference SK 479988  
Left after T junction after checkpoint. Cross M18 (J1) past Morrison's.  Right at next lights Bramley and Ravenfield.  Follow B6093 through Ravenfield to A630.  Right, then Left in Hooton Roberts, Right towards Old Denaby.  Checkpoint is at start of village, at opening with stile on right.  Parking limited - please avoid obstruction.

To Finish Grid Reference SE 417011  
Continue to A6023.  Left through Mexborough towards Barnsley.  At Manvers roundabout first left towards Swinton, Straight ahead at next roundabout to Event Centre.
